Sugarbush Sets New England Record with $170 Lift Ticket

As inflation soars across the country, day ticket purchasers will not be spared this winter.

Vermont's largest ski areas have quietly made lift tickets available online, directly or indirectly revealing the window price for the 2021-22 season.

Sugarbush will be charging $170.00 per weekend day, not including Vermont's 6% sales tax or the $5 RFID fee. Killington will be charging $169, while Stowe will be collecting $164 at the window on non-holiday weekends, both excluding tax.

Sugarbush's weekend window price is a 32% increase excluding tax since the pre-COVID, pre-Alterra acquisition season of 2019-20. Killington's $169 represents a 35% increase, excluding tax, in those two years.
