Jay Gamble

Pacific Group has named New Hampshire ski industry veteran Jay Gamble the general manager of its Wintergreen Resort in Virginia. The company has yet to name a replacement general manager at Ragged Mountain Resort.

Gamble was named general manager of Ragged Mountain Resort in the fall of 2018, after two decades at the helm of Mt. Sunapee. Gamble made the move to Ragged following the sale of Mt. Sunapee to Vail Resorts.

Pacific Group has owned Ragged Mountain since 2007, during which time it has improved the area's snowmaking plant and invested in a high speed quad on Spear Mountain. The company also operates ski areas in Maryland, Colorado, and Canada.
