Leitner-Poma's Snowdon Six Express lift debuted at Killington on Saturday, making it the first brand new lift to open in New England this season. The lift is the northern most bubble chairlift in Vermont. Construction on the relocated South Ridge and Alpine Racing lifts at Killington continues with no projected completion date announced.
Meanwhile, Doppelmayr has been battling the winter elements on both of its new lift projects.
Bretton Woods recently announced the completion of its new gondola has been delayed for an undetermined amount of time due to "supply chain delays coupled with the 5 feet of snow." While terminals have taken shape on the eight person gondola, towers have yet to be installed.
Though towers are up and terminals taking shape in the Snow Bowl at Stratton, the haul rope has yet to go up. The new high speed quad is not expected to open until after Christmas.
