Robert Drake

Robert Drake will take over as president and general manager of Gunstock Mountain Resort on August 5, the Gunstock Area Commission announced today. Drake takes the place of Tom Day, who announced his retirement earlier this year after five seasons at the resort.

Drake recently served as manager of Middlebury College's Rikert nordic ski facility. Prior to his arrival in Vermont, Drake served as assistant general manager at Bridger Bowl Ski Area in Bozeman, Montana, and the director of sales, marketing, and lodging services at Red Lodge Mountain Resort in Red Lodge, Montana.

Located in Gilford, New Hampshire, Gunstock is the only county-owned and operated ski area in New England. The area has an advertised vertical drop of 1,400 feet, with a high speed quad and four fixed grip chairlifts.
