Loon unveiled the trail map for its new South Peak expansion area today, dubbed Timbertown.

Chairs are already being hung on the new Doppelmayr fixed grip conveyor quad chairlift, which will serve twelve trails and two glades. The new terrain is predominantly novice and provides enhanced access to the Escape Route parking lot.

With the new lift starting below the current Lincoln Express Quad, Loon has boosted its advertised vertical drop from 2,100 to 2,190 feet, putting it 10 feet above nearby Cannon Mountain.

The new trails and lift are expected to debut later this year.
