Work on the 30-acre expansion of South Peak at Loon is well underway, as much of the new terrain is now cleared.

The new trails will be served by a 500 vertical foot loading carpet fixed grip quad and two magic carpet conveyor lifts. The terrain will be mostly novice and intermediate and will provide better access to parking closer to Lincoln.

Ticketing and other services are slated to be available at the base of the new chairlift for the 2023-24 season.

The project is one of three trail expansions announced in New England for the 2023-24 season. Fellow Boyne resorts Sugarloaf and Sunday River also have terrain expansions underway.
