Boyne Announces Sunday River Expansion Plan
Sunday River 2030 includes new lifts, renovated lodges, additional terrain, and automated snowmaking.

Weeks after unveiling its Loon Flight Plan 2030, Boyne has announced its Sunday River 2030 initiatives.

Immediate investments include this month's acquisition of the Sunday River Golf Club, acquiring land for the Merrill Hill real estate and terrain development, constructing an observation tower on North Peak, and installing RFID next season.

Lifts slated for replacement include the Jordan Bowl Express Quad, Aurora Quad, North Peak Express Quad, South Ridge Express Quad, Barker Mountain Express Quad, and Tempest Quad. A new lift is slated for the Merrill Hill development.

Other investments include improving existing lodges, constructing a restaurant at the top of Jordan Bowl, snowmaking improvements, and a mountain coaster.
