Though skis had to come off for the top and bottom of Superstar today, Killington managed to operate in June for the third year in a row.
The New England lift-served season started on October 22, when Ski Ward debuted its Latitude 90 L60 snowmaking system. Killington opened its North Ridge Quad on November 3, which was tied for its earliest opening since 2018. With the exception of Rhode Island, every New England state had November lift-served skiing.

Natural snow provided powder conditions at northern areas in early December, however a mid-month storm wiped out snowpack and caused a multi-day shutdown at many resorts. Sunday River sustained major flooding damage, including briefly standing occupants of the Grand Summit Hotel.
December through March were warmer than average, limiting snowmaking opportunities while forcing many areas to constantly resurface. Some smaller areas, such as Lyndon Outing Club and Powderhouse Hill, had one-day seasons.
Areas that survived the warm weather at the end of calendar winter were rewarded with multiple spring snowstorms. Four New England states had April skiing, while four ski areas operated in May.
