Tenney Mountain is under new ownership.
On April 19, 2022, Northcountry Development Group acquired the property from Tenney Mountain Development Group via quitclaim deed for $6.125 million.
Northcountry Development Group was formed in Delaware in February 2022 and registered as a New Hampshire business entity on March 11, 2022 with Steven Kelly as manager. The company is affiliated with Timberline Construction of Canton, Massachusetts.

A Westfield State alumnus, Steven Kelly acquired Timberline Construction in 2002. The company has experience in building hotel, housing, science, and technological developments.
Tenney Mountain Development Group, established by Michael Bouchard, purchased the ski area on November 21, 2014 for $1.25 million. Santo A. Insolia was listed as manager of the company starting in 2021. Bouchard was present at this month's Plymouth Planning Board meeting after the sale wearing a Tenney hat.
After being idle since 2010, Tenney Mountain Development Group reopened the ski area in early 2018. The area operated on mostly natural snow until closing on March 8, 2020. Though backcountry skiing has been permitted, Tenney Mountain has not operated since the March 2020 COVID-19 shut down. No posts have been made to Tenney Mountain's Facebook page since November 2020. Located just west of Plymouth, Tenney Mountain first debuted with lift service in December 1960. A Stadeli double chairlift was installed in 1964, serving 1,285 vertical feet. The area also features a Borvig triple chairlift and a platter pull.
