A new management team is now in place at Tenney Mountain as the New Hampshire ski area prepares for the 2023-24 season.

Dan Egan has been named General Manager, a position that he previously held in the early 2000s. Noted for his extreme skiing feats in Warren Miller movies, Egan was inducted into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in 2016. Former Tenney Mountain employees Dave Lorrey and Jeff Day are returning in operational management roles. Michael Bouchard is reportedly no longer part of the management team.

Steven Kelly's Northcountry Development Group acquired the shuttered resort in April 2022, opening in February 2023 for the first time since the COVID-19 shutdown. Kelly recently received Plymouth Planning Board approval for a $30 million base lodge upgrade slated to begin in the spring of 2024.

The resort's bar and grill has remained open throughout the 2023 off-season while crews work on repairing ski bridges and painting lifts.

Kelly recently told the Plymouth Record Enterprise, "We plan on making Tenney Mountain a local mountain, but eventually a destination location," adding, "When we open this year, we'll be in the best shape Tenney has been in 30 years because of the investment in infrastructure and equipment."

According to Egan, "What you see at Tenney today is not what you'll see in one, two, five or 10 years."

According to the Record Enterprise, Tenney plans to open on December 23 with 80 new tower snow guns, both chairlifts, and night skiing by headlamp only. Planned off-season attractions include disc golf (starting this fall), mountain biking, and zip lines.

Located just west of Plymouth, Tenney Mountain first debuted with lift service in December 1960. A Stadeli double chairlift was installed in 1964, serving 1,285 vertical feet.
