Looking to satisfy its niche of local expert skiers, Ski Sundown has cut a new expert trail from the summit.

Starting on July 31, Ski Sundown began to post a series of photos of trail cutting on its Facebook page.
Subsequent posts have revealed a new expert trail, located between the Exhibition and Triple Barrel chairlifts. The new double diamond trail, named Satan's Stairway, plays off the original theme of the ski area.
Satan's Stairway is expected to become a mogul run and will feature snowmaking and night lighting. The trail should be ready for the 2014-15 season.
