Veteran Jiminy Peak snowmaker Kimberlee "Kimber" Francoeur died from injuries suffered in an on-slope accident yesterday. She was 30.

According to the Berkshire Eagle, Francoeur had reportedly stopped her snowmobile to work on a snowgun Tuesday morning when a snowcat backed into it. Despite the efforts of Jiminy Peak Ski Patrol and Northern Berkshire EMS, she was pronounced dead minutes later.

According to the Berkshire Eagle, Francoeur had been a snowmaker at Jiminy Peak for a decade and was described as an avid skier, snowboarder, and hiker who "loved snow and snow making."
