Wachusett

A multi-day stretch of snowmaking weather will be enough to allow for the ski season to start tomorrow in Massachusetts and Vermont.

Killington and Wachusett are scheduled to open with multiple trails and lifts tomorrow. Reservations will be required. Jiminy Peak is planning to open on Saturday.

With a powerful, semi-automated snowmaking system, Wachusett has a nine-year streak of November opening days.

The November 20th opening is Killington's latest since 2006. As of Thursday evening, no Alterra, Boyne, or Vail Resorts have announced plans to operate this weekend.
