The Burke Mountain Hotel may finally open in August, according to SEC receiver Michael Goldberg.
Originally called the Q Burke Hotel, ground was broken on the $50 million EB-5 immigrant investor funded project in June 2014 with a projected 2015 open. While construction was completed in early 2016, the building has sat idle amidst unpaid bills and fraud allegations.
According to VTDigger, the facility will have a soft opening in August, followed by a September 1 opening. As of Monday morning, August and September reservations are still not available on Burke's web site.
Meanwhile, the lift served mountain biking season at Burke starts on Friday.
