Waterville Valley Green Peak Cutting in Progress; Lift Not Expected This Season
Lift line survey clearing underway.
Monday, June 8, 2015, NewEnglandSkiIndustry.com

After two weeks of work, progress is being made in initial Green Peak clearing at Waterville Valley.

The first portion of clearing has been around the future chairlift line, which will help with engineering of the future lift. While there was some speculation that the World Cup Triple would be relocated to Green Peak in 2015, it is not expected to happen this year. The World Cup Triple remains standing in place.

While it would take a lift and significant clearing to open Green Peak, it is rumored that some lower mountain terrain could potentially debut for the 2015-16 season.
