As part of an exclusive season pass holder event feature a lost ski areas presentation by NELSAP, Waterville Valley re-opened its lost Snow's Mountain ski area for one day of skiing on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
Home of the original Waterville Valley ski area in 1941, the 600 vertical foot Snow's Mountain became chairlift served in 1974-75. While the area often operated on weekends, holiday weeks, and nights, no alpine skiing has been offered since Booth Creek purchased the ski area in 1996. The Sununu family purchased Waterville Valley ski area in 2010.
The event appeared to be well attended by passholders, fueling rumors that similar events could happen in the future.
