The 39th annual Boston Ski Show has been cancelled, the organizers announced yesterday.
Recently re-branded as the Snowbound Festival, the annual event is typically held in November and has attracted as many as 40,000 visitors in recent years. Ski areas large and small have staff on hand, introducing their mountains to potential new skiers and offering free tickets and special deals.
According to the announcement, a digital version of the ski show is now being planned, with details to be soon.
