Lift ticket prices published by Maine chairlift-served ski areas are showing a 3% increase as compared to last season.
Sunday River remains the most expensive lift ticket in the state, increasing from $105 to $109 for an adult non-holiday weekend full day lift ticket. Sister area Sugarloaf crossed the $100 barrier, increasing $6 to $105.
Big Squaw remains the cheapest day ticket in the state amongst chairlift served ski areas, holding at $30.
The statewide mean of $59.30 is a 3% increase over 2018-19, while the median ticket price held flat at $47. The modest increases are a stark comparison to the 2016-17 season, when the mean ticket price soared by 9%.
