Warm temperatures are quickly zapping the snowpack in New England, resulting in lift served skiing in only Maine and Vermont this weekend. While Wildcat had hoped to reopen, accelerated melting ruled it out.
Jay Peak will have the most lifts operating, with both the Jet Triple and Bonaventure Quad scheduled to run through Sunday. Killington and Sugarloaf will have the only high speed lift service, with the Superstar and SuperQuad running through Sunday.
Killington plans to operate Friday-Sunday as long as the snow lasts, while Jay Peak hopes to reopen next weekend.
