After weeks of above freezing temperatures, nineteen New England ski areas are expecting to operate on Saturday. A brief window of snowmaking temperatures is expected to arrive early Saturday morning, which may allow a few additional areas to briefly reopen. However, the return of warm temperatures Monday morning is expected to keep the majority of ski areas closed through Christmas.
