Mountain Top Triple Removal, May 9, 2024
Removal of the Mountain Top Triple is underway at Berkshire East, as the resort has decided to retain the Summit Quad as its secondary summit lift following last year's T-Bar Express Quad installation.
As part of its proposal to install the Leitner-Poma high speed quad, Berkshire East informed the Town of Charlemont of plans to eventually relocate the Mountain Top Triple to the future North Face expansion area. The expansion is not currently expected to be completed in 2024.

The Mountain Top Triple was installed at Berkshire East in 2009, replacing the Diamond Express Double ("Black Chair") as the secondary summit lift. The Poma triple chairlift was originally installed at Ski Rio, New Mexico in 1982.
