Superstar, May 2017

The 2016-2017 lift served ski season is set to end tomorrow, as Killington is preparing to run the Superstar lift and slope one last time this spring. While some walking will be needed to get to and from the chairlift, free tickets are being offered.

The June 1 closing date marks the first June skiing at Killington since 2002, when the area was still owned by the American Skiing Company. Killington's latest recorded closing date was on June 22, 1997.

Powdr Corp. took over Killington in 2007 and had its latest closing to date on May 29, 2016.

Killington launched the 2016-17 ski season on October 25. No other New England ski areas have provided lift served skiing since May 1.
